Sabrina’s sister Cayla tweeted this morning asking for people to share and help her friend Ally who she is very close to that is important to her and her family. Ally suffered from a stroke in 2009 when she was 14 and then was later diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension a disease that requires a lung transplant. She has gone under two transplants which have now failed and in order to get her the third one she needs to the money to be able to travel to Alabama to under go the procedure. This is her only option in getting a new set of lungs.

If you could take a moment to share Ally’s store and donate to the GoFundMe set up by her family I know it would mean  a lot to Cayla. I know that this site usually make posts in regards to the cast but sometimes I will make posts in relation to family members of the actors. This time is no exception and I really wanted to post this about Ally for Cayla! You can read Ally’s story and donate by going to he GoFundMe link below. Any type of amount will help her. Also please share the GoFundMe link!

LINK IN MY BIO– THIS IS A LONG BUT VERY IMPORTANT POST PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ! This babe is a very close and important person in me and my families life and if I ever ask anything from any of you it’s please read this, help and share this story it all helps tremendously! WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH AL! . . . a message from her aunts. In July, 2009, Ally suffered a stroke at home and was later diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension. This is a disease that ultimately requires a lung transplant. Ally was 14 years old and was about to enter her freshman year of high school. On August 18, 2009, Ally received the gift of life with a new set of lungs. Unfortunately, she went into chronic rejection just eight months later and was in need of another transplant. She was blessed again with this gift on September 10, 2010. For the past seven years, Ally has become a spokesperson for organ donation. She has enjoyed speaking at schools, churches and hospitals to raise donor awareness. She even hosted a 5K to promote this cause. She has also offered her support to others in the tight-knit organ transplant community. On May 23rd of this year, Ally became unusually short of breath while exercising at the gym. She ended up in the ER with pneumonia and told she that was in Stage 4 Acute Rejection. She left the hospital on oxygen support and has been struggling since then to regain the health of her lungs. We have been praying for a healing miracle ever since then. This past Monday, she was supposed to start a new treatment at UC San Francisco. However, things did not go as planned. She was examined and was admitted to the ER. Very quickly, she was transferred to ICU where she was intubated and put on a ventilator. While Ally’s transplant support team was discussing the very few options left to her, it was brought to her attention that her transplant doctor is now practicing in Alabama and would like to do a third transplant. There are not many doctors who have the expertise for this surgery. This is Ally’s ONLY viable option.
