According to Variety.com, Emmy-nominated Ray Colcord, passed away at age 66. He had been battling pancreatic cancer for four years prior to his passing on February 5th of this year. Not only did he compose the theme music for Boy Meets World, but he also composed for Dinosaur, Big Brother, 227, The Facts of Life, Silver Spoon, My Two Dads, The Simpsons and many more iconic TV shows and films. He received an Emmy nomination for the theme he composed for Singer & Sons which is a sitcom in the 90s. He is also credited with getting Aerosmith to sign their label as well as many other amazing achievements. Girl Meets World cast members took to social media to share their condolences on the tragic loss. Ray Colcord is survived by his wife, Madeleine, his brother, Marc and his son, Alex.
