Dear Girl Meets World cast, crew, and writers,

Below are a bunch of fan letters and a video of fan messages from fans thanking you for giving us such a wonderful show. The fans are so dedicated. Its so heartwarming to see the dedication these fans have for you guys and the show. In my three years of running this site I have never seen a more dedicated bunch than this fan base.  Hope you guys enjoy all the messages. I received more written messages than I did video messages. 🙂

Love,

Mar

Jessie says:

I love you all. Class will never be dismissed because your legacy lives on. We will always learn from you. #thankyouGMW

Jessica says:

This show gave me hope for the future. They just do not make shows like this anymore. It’s a show that makes you feel good. I didn’t watch boy meets world as a kid, but I started to get into it about a year before they announced this sequel. Not many shows can make me cry, but this one sure has…

Sarah Says:

To everyone involved with the show, THANK YOU. I was a teenager watching Boy Meets World and a married mother of 1 with another on the way when Corey and Topanga got married and BMW ended. Now, as a mother of 4 boys, we watch GMW every chance we get (thank heavens for DVR!). My 2nd son was excited by the Girl Meets Farkle episode – he has Asperger’s and the fact they dealt with it in such a wonderful way made him feel less like a freak and more like a person. He was bummed that Farkle didn’t have it, but listening to Smackle explain what she goes through could have been my son. He felt a special connection with her and was upset to hear the show had been cancelled. My 3rd son is the same age as Riley and the gang – he’ll be 15 the end of this month and is a freshman in high school. He has a lot of medical problems that make it easier for him to online school than brick and mortar, so this show was special to him. It taught him that positive thinking is better than negativity and if he sets his mind to something, he can do anything. He made Eagle Scout at the tender age of 13 1/2, staffed a Cub Scout summer camp at 14 (and is going back this summer), and looks for leadership opportunities that we never thought he’d be able to achieve once his body started falling apart. As of today, he’s officially 1 year hospital free! When he found out GMW had been cancelled, he cried. For a kid that has already lost so much and knows he’s going to lose so much more as time goes on (the doctors don’t think he’ll walk across the stage at graduation), losing his “friends” was extremely hard on him. We know that everything ends. As a retired Navy family, we know things change and people move on. We just weren’t quite ready for y’all to to leave our lives yet. Thank you for making an impact on my boys. Thank you for showing them friendship matters. Thank you for showing all of us that families work and love conquers all. THANK YOU.

Victoria says:

I want to thank the cast and the producers of this show. From day one this show has impacted my life. This show gives me hope for friendships, school situations, And most importantly the family lessons that are incorporated within the show. Also, that it’s okay to be yourself even when others don’t approve. This show in general has made me a better person overall and showed me how to enjoy life. To treasure all the moments with family and friends. Thank you for always inspiring me and teaching me too always keep my head up no matter the situation and the importance of friendship. Take on the world 🌏

Jay says:

Thank you, Michael Jacobs, and the cast and crew, for giving us Riley and Maya, and Lucas and Farkle, and Smackle and Zay and Auggie and Ava, and Katy. And more of Cory and Topanga and Shawn and Josh and Harley and Eric. They have meant so much to my daughter and me these past three years. I really hope you can continue their stories in another venue!

Anny says:

Cassidy says:

This show has taught me to not be afraid of who I am. That I can be wild and crazy sometimes. It also gives me hope for the future. Thank you so much. I will miss this show so much

Julie says:

I am saddened by Disney cancelling this show. I am a mother of 4 and I grew up watching BMW. My kids had watched some BMW and we watch GMW together now. Not going to lie I watch repeats sometimes by myself. This show makes kids think it makes me think. It is a wonderful beautiful show that I adore. Thank you for the laughs the tears the moments that make you think the moment when you feel good after watching a episode for the phrases that stick in our heads and we use in our own lives the moments we just laugh and feel good. The children today don’t get many shows that teach life lessons and make them take a moment and just think about what they just watched. In today’s society we should be praising shows like this not cancelling. Thank you for showing human kindness love friendship courage vulnerability and at times heart ache .. I’ll be praying this story continues elsewhere.. Thank you GMW family from actors/actress, writers, producers, crew members everyone thank you. You will be missed!💔❤😍😢😃

Crista says:

Thank you so much for creating a show that I would fall in love with! Girl meets world is my favorite show on Disney channel and to see the preview for say goodbye to girl meets world made me cry. As the show has carried on I have learned that Lucas, Farkle, Riley, Maya, Smakle, Zayne, Cory, Topanga, Agugui, and Ava Lynne have all created on big family on and off screen. I would hate to see them all leave and I don’t want to leave. They are my family forever and they always will be. I have watched love, silly, sadness, kindness, and family on the show come together. I will miss my favorite show in the world and to watch them all come together and leave the show as family. I love each and everyone of them and now watching the last thing in the world of the cast working with the crowd. They have all etched me to be there for my family. I just wanna say that Riley and Maya are like me and my best friend. I am Maya the crazy and cool one who just wants to get in trouble and my friend is Riley goof and silly. We meet the world all the time and when there is something stopping us we get through it together. Maya and I have the same back story and my friend’s back story is the same as Riley’s. I am going to miss them to much and I will look back and be proud to say that I found a family in a show. Take on the world Girl Meets World. Good luck out in the world you will need it because it is one big place, have fun and I will miss you all!😞😞💜💜

Shane says:

Growing up, I watched every episode of Boy Meets World and love it! Girl Meets World gave me a chance to see those characters once again! Along the way, I also grew to love the new cast members. I laughed with the cast and cried as well. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. The 3 years you gave us were amazing! I hope Netflix or Hulu picks up the show. But if not, I will carry the joy this show has brought me in this world of uncertainty.

Griselda says:

Thank you for an amazing 3 years they have been unforgettable the most important lesson of all that I learned was the secret of life and that, “People Change People”. When I saw that episode it made me realize that what was taught is true the characters grew on me I am happy that o got to see Riley, Maya, Lucas, Family, Spackle, and Zay grow I will forever be grateful for the writers for the lessons that they taught us every week also for bringing back some of our favorite characters from BMW.

Lauren says

Thank-you GMW cast and crew for the 3 wonderful years. I truly enjoyed the show and it has taught me a lot about friendships and family. I’m glad that you all made an impact on so many of our lives and I wish you all the best.

Haley says:

Thank you, for 3 years. ❤ Girl Meets World helped me in so many ways. I started watching the show when it first aired, and I fell in love with it. It helped me through my depression, anxiety, bullies, personal problems… and it also helped me to love myself again. 😊 When I thought about self-harming, I turned on the show and it side tracked me from hurting myself. It helped me to never give up on anything, and it told me that anything is possible. ❤ Thank you, for being my heros. And thank you, for changing my life.

Megan says:

OrserGirl 24 says

Thank you so much for two amazing shows. I have been watching your Boy
Meets World since I was really little, and still when it’s on ABC spark at
5. And I loved watching all the BMW characters on GMW, and watching the new
characters grow and learn lessons that every child/teen needs to. So thank
out again. And I was wondering if you could send me a signed photo from
both casts please and thank you, it would mean a lot!
As well here are some videos I have made as tributes to BMW and GMW:

Girl Meets World has done loads for me. I personally was bullied for 5 years
straight. Then there was Girl Meets Rileytown. That was truly inspiring for me. I
have Asbergers and I’ve never fully understood it. Girl Meets I Am Farkle helped me
understand it better. From July 2016 to today. Ive had a rough time. I was
hospitalized 4 times in one year in that time span. I went to the doctor frequently.
I got so dizzy i was confined to a wheelchair. I got my hopes up for answers to my
Severe migraines, and dizziness and was always let down. Until this past visit I had
where we finally got some answers. I was saying Hope was for suckers. Now I don’t
think that’s true. I want to thank the cast and writers for making that impact on my
life. I hope Netflix picks Girl Meets World.

Scott says:

Hi,
I am not exactly sure what to write so I will just write what I am thinking and let
you decide how to use it if you want to use any of it.
I am a 24 year old guy so I am not the shows prime target and I am even further from
Disneys prime target. However, I rarely if ever missed a week of the show. In Girl
Meets Sweet Sixteen, Riley struggled with not wanting things to change & I have gone
through the same thing. Due to the episode I will hopefully work in a different way
to resolve it. I had similar feelings after watching Girl Meets the Bay Window.
Seeing them face & resolve personal issues in the show that are so similar to ones
I face gives me hope that maybe I can resolve them to. Also, the secret of life has
caused me to look closer at the people I associate with to make sure if they change
me that I get changed in a positive way. These are just a couple of the multiple
episodes that have brought different emotions from me, some that may surprise you
which should tell you something about the work of the fabulous cast and crew. Like
many others say, there isn’t a show on TV like this right now & I am really hoping
it gets picked up. I know some of this may sound odd coming from someone as old as
me but what Cory says is true that no matter how old you are, you never stop meeting
the world!
Thank you to the cast and crew for a great three seasons!!

Matt says:

We all had grown up watching Boy Meets World, we all had a laugh or two. Boy Meets
World is a good show but now we have GMW. GMW teach us life lessons though out the
years. It is going to be so hard to say goodbye to the popular show…. to all of
the cast and the crew are like family. I agree with Michael Jacob’s, with continuing
Riley’s story. I will most definitely miss the show. I like the fenny call, Riley,
and Maya. are sisters for life. Lucas “Hahurrrrr” I wish you guys the best of luck I
love you guys. We need more GMW. Rowan Blanchard, Sabrina Carpenter, Thunder
Lightning. Ring power. Again thank you putting in a great show. Hopefully it won’t
be goodbye forever. Girl meets goodbye! 😭😭 I don’t want to thank of this being the
end, let’s think of this in a while new way! It’s your world now, take it on, the
world is yours and it’s a new beginning…..take on the world with hope and
dreams….take on the world! Take on the world! Take on the world. Remember that
there’s a great big beautiful tomorrow Shining at the end of every day
There’s a great, big, beautiful tomorrow
And tomorrow’s just a dream away… “Feeny? Fa-fa-fa-fa-feeny! Feenay!
Fee-hee-heenay! Yow! Hey, hey, what? Whatcha-what-what-what! Hey-ey! Yow!
Hey-ey-wow-yay! Yow!”
