Corey was recently featured in an issue VULKAN Magazine. He talked about Girl Meets World and more. You can read some of the Girl Meets World parts below and then read the rest at the source link.

2. What is it like working with the cast and creators of Boy Meets World? Were you nervous when you first met them?

It’s been incredible. Michael (our creator and head writer) is so passionate about his work and has such a brilliant mind; and after a while it kind of starts to rub off on you. I’ve developed such a deep passion for the craft and the show and I have everyone involved on this project to thank. I don’t remember being nervous to work with any of the BMW cast, but I was really excited to be on set with them and watch them work.

3. What is the best part about being on the show? Do you have a favorite memory from working on set, so far? Who are you closest to on set?

I would say the best part of being on the show is the experience. Working on a sitcom has been a particularly helpful environment for me personally as I grow as a person and as an actor. It’s been wonderful so far.

4. Farkle has grown a lot since the show’s first season. What do you think is his defining moment?

I don’t think there’s been one moment where he’s shown the most growth but there’s definitely been a few that have been very important. We did an episode called GM Yearbook, where my character takes a big step towards the person he wants to grow up to be. I cut my hair between seasons 2 and 3 and that was a pretty important moment for me. (haha) We have an episode coming up this season called GM The Great Lady of New York where my character learns more about his family heritage. But I think throughout the entire series he is finding his way and growing into his more mature self.

5. Do you share any similarities with Farkle?

I think third season Farkle is the most like myself. I’ve unintentionally put some of my mannerisms into the character and now they’re just part of him. But of course now I am immensely different than what the character was in season one. So the character has definitely grown with me.

6. Girl Meets World is now in its third season and venturing into the world of high school. What kind of new challenges will we see for Farkle? Can you relate to those challenges?

Like I said before, Farkle is growing up so there are a set of challenges that go along with that and that is definitely being explored. An external challenge we encounter is a change of setting. The whole group is adjusting to the fact that they aren’t ‘the kings of middle school anymore’. Something we learn right off the bat is that there is a big world beyond middle school and the only way to survive it is to stick together.
