Anthony Tyler Quinin

Check out our exclusive interview with Anthony Tyler Quinn. Thank You Anthony for taking the time to answer questions for us! Scroll down for the interview!

BMW Sequel: What have you been up to since Boy Meets World?

Anthony Tyler Quinn: I have been up to a lot since Boy. Working on shows, raising kids. That’s a full time job in and of itself.

BMW Sequel: You worked on Days of Our Lives this past year. Ali Sweeney and Ari Zucker are two of my favorites on Daytime. How was that for you and did you like working with the cast?

Anthony Tyler Quinn: Working on Days was great. The cast was so welcoming. Ali was so sweet, I got to ask her all kinds of questions about “The Biggest Loser”. The last episode I did on Days was the actual day my character was shot and killed, so we had a bunch of fun with that. The hospital room was filled with cast members, I was covered in blood, they were trying to revive me, great fun!

BMW Sequel: Do you have any future projects coming up?

Anthony Tyler Quinn: None at the moment.

BMW Sequel: Which current television shows are you into?

Anthony Tyler Quinn: I absolutely LOVE the BBC’s SHERLOCK. Fantastic show!

BMW Sequel: What advice would you give to someone who wants to take up acting as their career path?

Anthony Tyler Quinn: My advice would be to go for it. The great thing about acting as a career is that it is open to all comers. The BAD thing about acting as a career, is that it is open to all comers. There is a lot of competition. A lot of rejection, disappointment. It can be quite discouraging at times, but you’ll never know until you try. So bring your best game to the craft and see what happens.

BMW Sequel: How much impact did Boy Meets World have on your life?

Anthony Tyler Quinn: It’s been HUGE! Boy Meets World has been an incredible experience. Working on it then, and seeing the positive influence on fans of the show now, it’s everything an actor dreams of.

BMW Sequel: What was your favorite episode to shoot?

Anthony Tyler Quinn: It has to be a tie between The Double Lie and the episode with the pig.

BMW Sequel: Did you ever have a real life relationship like the one Mr.Turner and Shawn had?

Anthony Tyler Quinn: No, I can’t say that I have.

BMW Sequel: How do you feel about the success of Boy Meets World and what are your thoughts on the upcoming new show “Girl Meets World”?

Anthony Tyler Quinn: I think it’s wonderful that Boy Meets World has had such a positive affect on it’s audience, and that it has endured. In a time where the forget factor is so short, it seems Boy has stood the test of time. It’s an honor to be a part of that. In regards to Girl Meets World, I think if it’s done right, it will be terrific, and with Michael Jacobs at the creative helm, I’m sure it will be done right.

BMW Sequel: The 90’s was very different to today’s society. How do you think Girl Meets World will do in today’s society as compared to the 90’s for Boy Meets World?

Anthony Tyler Quinn: That’s a complicated question. Hopefully “Girl” will strike a chord with the audience of today, just as we seemed to have done. I’m sure they will.

BMW Sequel: We never got to find out what happened to Mr. Turner after he survived his motorcycle accident. A lot of fans want to know why that is and if we will ever find out what happened to Mr. Turner?

Anthony Tyler Quinn: Sometimes changes are made to a show that the network and or the producers don’t explain. It’s a bummer for the fans. I’m not sure if an explanation will ever be given. Hopefully there will be.
