TVLine.com shared a first look of Cory, Topanga, and Shawn’s reunion with Mr. Feeny! There is also a cute picture of the girls with him as well.

In the episode, titled “Girl Meets Pluto,” the original BMW-ers return to their childhood stomping grounds to dig up a 15-year-old time capsule, inspiring the next generation to bury one of its own.

TVLine.com has posted an interview with Ben and Rowan! They give us the scoop about upcoming guest appearances from Boy Meets World cast members. There is also an adorable video of Rowan doing the Feeny Call! Below are some quotes from the interview as well as the video of Rowan doing the Feeny Call which we have to admit she’s totally got it down to a tee!

Mr. Feeny: “He has a great role in the premiere, and in ‘Girl Meets Pluto,’” teases Blanchard. “We go back to Pennsylvania and Riley and I do the Feeny call! It was so intimidating. You don’t want to mess that up, so Michael [Jacobs] would show us clips of Will [Friedle] doing it, then we would try to mimic him. Obviously we’re not as good as he was, but we tried.”

Eric: When Cory’s older brother returns in “Girl Meets Mr. Squirrels,” Blanchard says we should expect nuggets of “wisdom” from his famed alter ego. We shouldn’t, however, expect to find out whether or not Plays With Squirrels remained married to that moose with whom he allegedly swapped vows. “I don’t know if we address that,” Savage admits. “Maybe he’s still with the moose. Eric is a character where, really, anything goes.” Adds Blanchard, less hopefully, “Or maybe they went their separate ways.”

Angela: “This is one of the strongest episodes we’ve ever done,” Savage says of “Girl Meets Hurricane,” in which Shawn’s ex-girlfriend re-enters the fold. “We tie up a lot of loose ends.” Adds Blanchard, “We call it a ‘hurricane’ because it’s all these characters thrown into a situation where they have to come to terms with what’s happened in the past.”

Girl Meets World / May 9th, 2015

Latimes.com interviewed William Daniels and his wife Bonnie Bartlett. They talked about “Captain Nice” 1967 NBC comedy created by Buck Henry in which William Daniels played in along with “The Graduate”, “St. Elsewhere”, “Boy Meets World”and more. We have copied the part of the interview where Boy / Girl Meets World was mentioned.  If you would like to read the rest of the interview you can do so by going HERE.

Here is a quote on the Boy / Girl Meets World part:

Daniels still receives mail from fans of “Knight Rider” and “Boy Meets World,” in which he played the teacher and later principal of Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) from 1993 to 2000.

In the “Girl Meets World” second-season premiere, Cory, who is now a history teacher, calls the retired Mr. Feeny to see how he is doing. It’s a sweet moment between the characters.

“We want to start a tradition that Billy is in the first one every season,” said Michael Jacobs, the co-creator and executive producer of the original and the sequel.

“We wanted an authority figure that was absolutely implacable. I think he gave the show gravitas. I think he made the show more than it would have been if we had ever gone with somebody else. He was eminently believable in his care about the kids but doing it in the proper distance so that the kids were allowed to have their own lives.”

Also, a cool trivia:

As an homage to his role of Adams in “1776,” Jacobs named the school in “Boy Meets World” John Adams High School. The new school in “Girl Meets World”? It’s John Quincy Adams.

Ben and Rowan teased in an interview with Entertainment Tonight at the Radio Disney Music Awards about Mr. Feeny, Eric and Angela’s return. Check out the quotes below on what Ben and Rowan said.

“Uncle Eric hasn’t changed much in 15 years but he’s definitely joining us this season as are a lot of old guest stars and stars from Boy Meets World

“Uncle Eric and [Riley] have the funniest relationship because she doesn’t quite understand him,” Blanchard explains. “She just knows how hilarious and loving he is and there’s not a scene where I’m not laughing.”

“She’s back to tie up some loose ends and that’s all I’ll say,” Savage teases. “It’s nice, I think this season people are going to be very happy with a lot of the people they see.”

Blanchard dishes, “She’s coming back for an episode where we kind of address the whole Shawn situation and that’s definitely, probably my favorite episode.” The Girl Meets World star also confirmed that fans will be seeing a lot more from Shawn Hunter this season as he tries to find his own “Topanga” to love.

Boy Meets World (1993-2000) / Girl Meets World (2014 & 2015)—“George Feeny”

AVC: How did you find your way into Boy Meets World?

WD: They came looking for me. I read the first script and I said, “I don’t want to do this.” So the producer said, “Would you come and have a meeting with me, please?” So I went and had a meeting, and I said, “You know, before you say anything, I don’t want to play Mr. Belvedere or make fun of teachers, because I think they’re underpaid, need more respect, and…”

And he said, “Wait, wait, wait a minute! This character is based on a teacher I had in high school who became a mentor of mine! We’re not making fun with this part!” I said, “But this first script…” He said, “Don’t worry about that. Just give me 24 hours. This is gonna be rewritten, and then tell me whether you’ll gonna do it or not.” And overnight he sent another script, and it’s totally different, totally believable, and totally doable. And so I said, “Okay.” And that was the beginning of a long run! You know, I ass-backwards into a lot of these things. [Laughs.]

AVC: Bonnie mentioned earlier that you get letters from history professors who were influenced by 1776. I can only imagine how many you get from teachers who were influenced by Mr. Feeny.

WD: That’s true. To this day, I get mail, and it’ll either be about Boy Meets World or 1776.

BB: Or KITT.

WD: Or KITT, yes. But as a matter of fact, Disney wanted Michael Jacobs to produce another series, a sequel of some sort. He said, “Well, I can’t do Boy Meets World again. This is 20 years later!” So he comes up with Girl Meets World. [Laughs.] And he asked me to come on and do a couple of scenes for the opening show, just to get me into it, because evidently Mr. Feeny had become something of an iconic figure involved with this thing. So I did two scenes for two different shows. We did it in one day, because the money is not any good anymore, so he could pay me a double salary. And I think he’s going to want me to do something else, too. Isn’t that what he said, Bonnie?

BB: He said that it would be a tradition that, for as long as the show goes on, you’d be on the first episode of each season. So, yeah, you’ve done a couple, and he wants you there when you can. And when you will.

WD: Yes, and I feel beholden to him for making me comfortable from Boy Meets World, so the money doesn’t really matter to me. Whatever he wants me to do, I’ll do.

Feeny Crew

Ben posted on Instagram yesterday a picture of him, Danielle, Bill Daniels and Rider Strong together again. I see a picket fence along with cameras it seems in the background. Of course as you can all guess, this picture quickly went viral on the internet.

The caption is “The Feeny Crew”.

The writers tweeted a while back that the cast went to Mr. Feeny’s house to receive something from the past.

Check it below.

So this picture might be related to the tweet.
