Trina McGee (Angela) and Maitland Ward (Rachel) were also only visiting the set, we’re pretty sure.

Edit: We meant to put February 26 Live taping! We apologize for that mistake.

Experience by Becky H

The episode that was taped tonight was called Girl Meets Farkle’s Choice. Farkle is playing a character similar to the role Stuart Minkus played in Boy Meets World. He is so funny and adorable. Farkle has to finally choose who he “loves” more, Riley or Maya.
It is hilarious and ties into what they learned in Mr. Matthews’ history class. Topanga and Auggie’s story line this episode is absolutely hilarious and involves Auggie’s little girlfriend and her pretentious mother.
Their scenes have clever lines and funny jokes. The taping itself was so much fun and the cast and crew truly appreciate all the support they get from fans both old and new. Every once in a while, someone from Boy Meets World comes and visits the set to show their support for the spin-off. Going to previous episode tapings, I have seen ‘Eric’, ‘Shawn’, and ‘Rachel’. This episode was visited by MINKUS! The cast had no idea and were so surprised. It was so cool to be there and see the collision of the 2 shows right in front of my eyes. I am so excited for the show to start airing and everyone of all ages to enjoy it.

PS.
A Glee cast member guest starred on this episode….Jane Lynch!
Great episode. This is #7. I think 3 is my favorite so far though. (Seen 1,3, and 7). This one has a wonderful message people of all ages could use though. Maybe if there was more @daniellefishel in it I would’ve loved it a little more but it was still a SUPERB episode.
Jackee Harry played a bigger part of this one and hints toward a bigger mentor role for Riley and Maya (almost in a Feeny way) so that was great too!
My Girl Meets World experience was simply amazing. Having been to a taping for episode 3 I was thrilled to be able to attend episode 7. First of all I love how the cast members from the old show (this episode that was Rider Strong) hang out on set and make a brief off camera appearance for fans. Such a pleasure for the people who have been fans of the original series for 20 years like myself. Also love the entire new cast as well. The casting director was able to find people who genuinely act, look, and feel like a real family and just like the characters who inspired their roles from the first series. It’s very amazing. Michael Jacobs, the creator of the show, with the help of the writers was able to stay very close to the greatness and overall themes of the original show as well. Boy Meets World entertained as well as taught morals and values to generations and this show will do the same. After the show the entire cast very happily speaks with fans, sign autographs, and take pics with and for the fans too. It is a truly remarkable experience. I have never met a cast so humble, talented, and beautiful (inside and out) in my life. Usually when you meet celebs or childhood idols they disappoint. Attending a Girl Meets World taping and meeting the cast is the COMPLETE OPPOSITE of disappointment. It is a dream come true and somehow even manages to exceed my very high expectations. I’m pretty sure just about everyone who attends can say the same thing and this is NOT by mistake or coincidence. The entire cast and crew make sure you walk away with a smile. And perhaps a souvenir. Greatest day ever!

PS.
The experience doesn’t end after the show. If you tweet the cast or post pics of them on IG you will probably get a response and some more kind words. I was lucky enough to take the world’s greatest pic of Danielle Fishel and Ben Savage after the show. After tagging Danielle in the pic she saw it, loved it, and re posted it (even giving me photo credit) and since then it has received thousands of likes and tons of love from fans worldwide. Bringing a smile to her face as well as countless fans brought yet another huge smile to my face. Thank you to everyone involved in that show for inspiring a fellow writer like myself to try to reach the hearts of millions in a positive way just like your show did/does. You have raised the bar for television and humans in general! 🙂

Experience by Hannah

I absolutely love Boy Meets World and just the thought of them continuing on with it with a new generation is just fascinating. Of course, I had my fears that Girl Meets World was going to meet the demands of what current Disney Channel shows have but it doesn’t! With the original producer, Michael Jacobs, and some of the original writers.. they really hold the value of this show to stay true to heart and to “DO GOOD” in it. It exceeded all my expectations and I can’t wait for the show to air!
