According to Variety.com before the final episode airs on Friday Jan 20th there will be a special video message from Michael, Ben, Rowan, and Sabrina. It’s basically a farewell message. You can watch a sneak peek below. Here is a quote from Variety’s article that explains what the message will consist of.
Before the final episode of “Girl Meets World” airs on Friday, stars Rowan Blanchard (Riley Matthews), Ben Savage (Cory Matthews) and Sabrina Carpenter (Maya Hart) and creator Michael Jacobs have a special message for followers of the “Boy Meets World” story.
In this exclusive featurette, which you can watch above, the team shares what the series has meant to them and discusses the important messages the series tackles. The cast has become a real family over the years, Carpenter says, and the bonds will last beyond the finale.
Tanner Kloven of Dallas/For Wroth radio station More Hits 103.7 is taking fan questions via twitter for Sabrina who will be doing a live Facebook event with him in less than 5 hours. If you are on Twitter go tweet him your questions!
The last time I had in n out burger and didn’t eat it, I had just been cast in a show called girl meets world! Tonight I sit here and I can’t eat my in n out burger because life comes full circle.
We speak in the language of love, heartbreak, friendship, family, sadness, and laughter. Wherever we are in the world, whatever we believe in, whoever we love, we all speak that language. We had the privilege of growing up in front of your eyes. The privilege of teaching the lessons we were learning ourselves and beyond that.
To the family that was created on our set, between the cast and crew, thank you for giving us the ability to make mistakes and to grow. I felt so safe in that bay window. People thought it was weird that I was excited to go to work. People thought it was weird that we really did and still do love each other. That’s a rare entity, we hold that tight.
Thank you Disney for giving this show and these characters the chance to see the light of day. I know I feel very lucky to have given life to Maya hart.
MJ- without you I wouldn’t know most of what I do. I also probably would have never had 2 paint fights in my lifetime.
We live in an intricate world. We can be adversaries whilst being allies. To everyone that watched our show and felt something, thank you. To everyone that grew up watching Boy Meets World and decided to give our story for a new generation a chance, thank you.
And to the little girls reading this, You can do whatever you put your mind to. You’re gonna meet the world now, and I think you’ll love it. “There is no end. There is no beginning. There is only the infinite passion of life.” – Fellini
I want to tell you all directly how much we appreciated all your tweets, posts, comments, and trends you created in support of the show. Thank you for the multiple petitions that have thousands of signatures! We want you to know that even though we might not have the show to learn and grow together, we will still have each other. My husband and I pledge to continue to each Auggie and his brother ocean the way Cory and Topanga raised their kids. I will encourage them to volunteer and do charity work, and pormote positive messages to other kids out there. I will continue to encourage Auggie to use his platform to raise awareness on social isseus that are important to him. I will encourage both of my kids to follow their dreams and will support Auggie & Ocean in whatever they want to do, whether it be acting or just going to a regular school and being a regular kid, which is equally amazing!
Thank you Girl Meets World fans for just being you. I have never witnessed such love and deovtion (& PASSION) for a show, My favorite comments are from the educators who tell me that they use GMW as a teaching tool in their classroom. I also love the grandparents who say “I love watching this show iwth my grandkids!” Or the people who say, “I grew up with BMW, now my kids and I watch GMW!” The ones that break my heart though, are the ones that say “Please don’t cancel GMW. I still have so many lessons to leran!” I pledge to you we will try to continue to teach lessons by being a good example to you all.
