Corey was interviewed recently by Starry Constellation Magazine where he talked Girl Meets World and what he see’s in his future.  While this is just peek of the interview, you can read the full interview by clicking on the link below.

Q) “Girl Meets World” and other Disney shows have really been setting a precedence with messages about equality, feminism and media asking more. What are your thoughts on Disney pushing these boundaries and why it’s so important?

A) These issues are very important and I am glad that they are being talked about in kids’ television shows. I think it’s important for kids to be introduced to them so they have awareness of what is happening and of the challenges that people are facing in the world.

It was brought to our attention that a cast member(actually Auggie’s mom) has spoken out on an instagram post about people in the fandom spoiling the show. We have not linked to the post but are sharing an image of the comments she left. We don’t want to link to the account she commented on as it will just bring them attention that they don’t need. I made a post a couple days ago about this subject on our website and on our social media accounts to try and spread word thorough the fandom. Please guys stop this you are upsetting the cast and the writers. Also you are going to ruin the tapings for everyone else if you continue to spoil what you see being filmed. Below is what I posted the other day:

Various fans who have attended tapings are reporting to us that they are being told many viewers are “spoiling” the episode, and essentially making it very difficult for the cast to tape live in front of an audience. As you have all observed previously, there are a handful of episodes that were not filmed in front of an audience. Fans who attend tapings have been told that this behavior is why they alternatively taped without an audience. If this behavior is long-term, they may not shoot episodes with an audience in an purposeful way and take a more permanent route…

I feel this episode spoiling is extremely disrespectful to the cast, writers and all of those in the background who work diligently for us to create episodes. If more people would think before they spoke, maybe others would have a shot at attending a future taping. Please keep all of this in mind and respect them. I’d hate to see things ruined for those who may want to attend a taping in the future.
