Auggie wrote a very sweet thank you letter to his cast, the crew, Michael Jacob’s, and the fans in regards to Girl Meets World’s cancellation. The letter we posted the other day was written by his mom. This one was actually written by Auggie. You can read his sweet letter below. He’s such a sweet boy. Absolutely adorable.
To my cast: Girl Meets World has been the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen and I’m really sad about the show ending, but we still have and love each other though. All of you are my friends and love me and care for me so I don’t have to be afraid. And whenever I’m sad, then I could always come to you to help me through life. All the life lessons in the show actually teaches me, and if I have any questions, I could go to my cast mates for help.
To the Fans of Girl Meets World: You guys are the ones that loves our show and made it great and we appreciate that so much! I love you, you are the best because you love us, and we love you! You are AMAZING and you keep us up and we thank you for that!!!! 😉
Also to the Crew of Girl Meets World: All of you writers write the best scripts I’ve ever seen! And I thank the Casting Department for casting lots of great friends. I thank the A.Ds for having so much fun with walking Shiloh the dog. I thank the Wardrobe department for having fun with your dog Loki with me and also the clothes! I thank Mike and Jeremy in props department for being great friends. I thank Tara the seamstress for also being a great friend! Everyone on the crew became a second family to me. I love all of you guys.
And Finally, I thank Michael Jacobs for believing in me, giving me GREAT advice, and letting me sit right next to him in run thru and network run thru!!! :* I love you so much and I will never forget my time on Girl Meets World.
The last time I had in n out burger and didn’t eat it, I had just been cast in a show called girl meets world! Tonight I sit here and I can’t eat my in n out burger because life comes full circle.
We speak in the language of love, heartbreak, friendship, family, sadness, and laughter. Wherever we are in the world, whatever we believe in, whoever we love, we all speak that language. We had the privilege of growing up in front of your eyes. The privilege of teaching the lessons we were learning ourselves and beyond that.
To the family that was created on our set, between the cast and crew, thank you for giving us the ability to make mistakes and to grow. I felt so safe in that bay window. People thought it was weird that I was excited to go to work. People thought it was weird that we really did and still do love each other. That’s a rare entity, we hold that tight.
Thank you Disney for giving this show and these characters the chance to see the light of day. I know I feel very lucky to have given life to Maya hart.
MJ- without you I wouldn’t know most of what I do. I also probably would have never had 2 paint fights in my lifetime.
We live in an intricate world. We can be adversaries whilst being allies. To everyone that watched our show and felt something, thank you. To everyone that grew up watching Boy Meets World and decided to give our story for a new generation a chance, thank you.
And to the little girls reading this, You can do whatever you put your mind to. You’re gonna meet the world now, and I think you’ll love it. “There is no end. There is no beginning. There is only the infinite passion of life.” – Fellini
I want to tell you all directly how much we appreciated all your tweets, posts, comments, and trends you created in support of the show. Thank you for the multiple petitions that have thousands of signatures! We want you to know that even though we might not have the show to learn and grow together, we will still have each other. My husband and I pledge to continue to each Auggie and his brother ocean the way Cory and Topanga raised their kids. I will encourage them to volunteer and do charity work, and pormote positive messages to other kids out there. I will continue to encourage Auggie to use his platform to raise awareness on social isseus that are important to him. I will encourage both of my kids to follow their dreams and will support Auggie & Ocean in whatever they want to do, whether it be acting or just going to a regular school and being a regular kid, which is equally amazing!
Thank you Girl Meets World fans for just being you. I have never witnessed such love and deovtion (& PASSION) for a show, My favorite comments are from the educators who tell me that they use GMW as a teaching tool in their classroom. I also love the grandparents who say “I love watching this show iwth my grandkids!” Or the people who say, “I grew up with BMW, now my kids and I watch GMW!” The ones that break my heart though, are the ones that say “Please don’t cancel GMW. I still have so many lessons to leran!” I pledge to you we will try to continue to teach lessons by being a good example to you all.
