Michael Jacobs said talking about God will be part of any project he ever does. It was a vast part of Boy Meets World and would be apart of any project he does. He thinks it’s important.

Michael Jacobs also said the following on mature topics: He’s going to have similar mature topics from Boy on Girl but he has to be very clever about it and he would have to do a lead up so people are aware it’s a very special episode. He also hopes Girl will be successful with it as Boy was. He also said the prom episode was banned on Disney years ago but whether it’d be allowed now would be an interesting question.

Girl Meets World Still

The follow-up to the 1990s ABC comedy Boy Meets World will bow Friday, June 27 at 9:45/8:45c, following the world premiere of the network’s latest original movie Zapped, which stars recording artist and Shake It Up alum Zendaya.

Disney Channel also released a full-length trailer for the GMW, which finds Cory Matthews (played by Ben Savage) and wife Topanga (Danielle Fishel) struggling to accept that their little girl Riley (Rowan Blanchard) is becoming a young lady. Behold:

Ben and Danielle were interviewed at the Radio Disney Music Awards by Billboards and Danielle said “No. No, not a singing show at all”. “There won’t be any singing on the show or characters that are singers secretly or anything like that”.

They already promised this many times but we’re posting it again for those who haven’t heard about this.
