On June 28, 2015 Sabrina met fans and performed at Hershey Stadium in Pennsylvania. She was a part of the Show of the Summer. The concert featured sets from Sabrina Carpenter, Jacob Whiteside, Jack and Jack, R5, Fifth Harmony, and Shawn Mendes.

I was fortunate enough to attend this event, as well as a VIP meet and greet with Sabrina. I joined a line of fans in the morning and we were put into groups for our photo with Sabrina. No csmeras or cell phones were permitted, and a professional took our photos. We met Sabrina in groups of four or two. She was so sweet to each and every fan and really made sure to make e experience special. She recognized me immediately and exclaimed “Jona! How are you? I can’t believe I’m meeting you!”
I’ll never forget that moment.

Sarah Carpenter greeted fans outside of the tent. We were able to use our cameras and phones with her. She was extremely sweet and made sure to talk to everyone.  Later that day Sabrina opened the concert with “Take On the World”. She also sang “We’ll Be the Stars”, “Can’t Blame a Girl for Trying”, “Middle of Starting Over”, and “Eyes Wide Open”, as well as covers of Meghan Trainor’s “Like I’m Going to Lose You” and Rihanna’s “Four Five Seconds”.

This show was special for Sabrina because she is from Pennsylvania! She told the crowd a story about the last time she was in the stadium. She saw Selena Gomez and knew in that moment, that she wanted to perform there.

Shortly after her set Sabrina boarded a plane to get back to LA to film Girl Meets World. It was an incredible day for all involved. Be sure to check out my vlog of the event over on my YouTube Channel (JonasAlmostFamous).
